Travel backpacks.
There are a couple of different backpacks with personal passport stamps as collages. This was the only one I bought, but I’m already giving away to a friend, because I’m making room for:
I used to love collecting passport stamps; my old ones are filled with so much red from inane border crossings between China and Hong Kong. However, I’ve always been fascinated with public transit, especially metros. This backpack celebrates the sheer variety and diversity in mass transit souvenirs, but doesn’t even cover 1/5 of my collection.
What I recalled sifting through the tickets was that even though many systems in Central Asia and China use plastic tokens that all too easily forfeit their value, some use flimsy plastic or paper cards (I’m looking at you, NYC and Washington, D.C.), and others stick to stored-value cards (Hong Kong has got it going on), they all still look goooood on a backpack. So good that you might want to invest in some tech gear so that you don’t accidentally lose your bag!
