If you’re looking for some travel gear or homeware, but want there to be a certain travel-theme as the core element, look no further than my Society 6 Travelator page.
Through Society6, you can upload your own designs to sale, choose your own mark-ups, and create a favorites page for other people’s works that you recommend. The difference between Society6 and a site like Etsy is that Society6 does the hard labor for you; just change the specs on your designs (different goods have different upload requirements), and then choose your pricing.
As someone who is always planning trips in my head — be they day trips, or round-the-world itineraries — I will show you a couple of examples of …
Travel backpacks.

There are a couple of different backpacks with personal passport stamps as collages. This was the only one I bought, but I’m already giving away to a friend, because I’m making room for:

I used to love collecting passport stamps; my old ones are filled with so much red from inane border crossings between China and Hong Kong. However, I’ve always been fascinated with public transit, especially metros. This backpack celebrates the sheer variety and diversity in mass transit souvenirs, but doesn’t even cover 1/5 of my collection.
What I recalled sifting through the tickets was that even though many systems in Central Asia and China use plastic tokens that all too easily forfeit their value, some use flimsy plastic or paper cards (I’m looking at you, NYC and Washington, D.C.), and others stick to stored-value cards (Hong Kong has got it going on), they all still look goooood on a backpack. So good that you might want to invest in some tech gear so that you don’t accidentally lose your bag!

I hope that my Travelator store at Society6 might inspire you to continue traveling, whether through a purchase for yourself, a relative, or a friend, or through a keen desire to just go out and explore.
