If you’re looking for some travel-themed gifts, look no further than my Society 6 Travelator page.
As someone who is always planning trips in his head — be they day trips, or round-the-world itineraries — I will show you a couple of examples of …
Travel backpacks.
There are a couple of different backpacks with personal passport stamps as collages. But I’ve already given it away to a friend, to make room for:
I used to love collecting passport stamps; my old ones are filled with so much red from inane border crossings between China and Hong Kong. However, I’ve always been fascinated with public transit, especially metros. This backpack celebrates the sheer variety and diversity in mass transit souvenirs, but doesn’t even cover 1/5 of my collection.
What I recalled sifting through the tickets was that even though many systems in Central Asia and China use plastic tokens that all too easily forfeit their value, some use flimsy plastic or paper cards (I’m looking at you, NYC and Washington, D.C.), and others stick to stored-value cards (Hong Kong has got it going on), they all still look good on a backpack. Plus, now you have somewhere else to store those delicious edible airport supermarket souvenirs.
In addition to backpacks, there are a number of other products available. These include phone cases, tote bags, and even wrapping paper.
I hope that these travel-themed gifts at my Travelator store at Society6 might inspire you to continue traveling. Whether it’s a purchase for yourself, a relative or friend, or through a keen desire to just go out and explore, take a look around.
